NOISE is a on going body of arts research and a platform for collaborative production.
In its simplest ontology NOISE explores an utilises the materials which cn be found to exist within the "silent" spaces inbetween the cause and of a creative product and the "finished" article.
The trend began perhaps in 1999 as a series of works entitled "transponections" - which explored the space within a set of binary variables [produced to create cloud-like aesthetic variations] in sequence to kinaesthetic-textual relms of the psycho-automatic.

The next occurance of NOISE wasn't until later - in 2002 with the theoretical paper "Whatever Is the Name." but still was not to truely take its shape until the early developmental phases of "cultura. 3" when a body of graphic research into the stylistic repacussions in cross-media desintigration and re-assimilation of "art" components - "system 2005-01-15 13-39" [see images below].
